Important Notice for all ND640, ND680, ND825 & NDSprint Users

As of the 1st January 2004 Newbury Data’s legal obligation of supporting the ND640, ND680, ND825 and NDSprint printers with the supply of ribbons, print heads, spare parts and/or technical support ceased. However, whilst our legal obligation has ceased, our intentions to support these products will continue for the foreseeable future.

Printer Ribbons: Newbury Data will continue to exclusively supply printer ribbons for the ND640, ND680, ND825 and NDSprint for many years to come. Please contact sales for the latest prices.

Print Heads: Newbury Data currently supply both new and refurbished print heads, it is our intention to continue to supply both new and refurbished print heads, however it is expected that due to the reduction in parts only refurbished print heads will only be available in the near future. Please call sales on 01606 593424 to see how much you can save by purchasing refurbished print heads.

Spare Parts: Newbury Data currently supply new spare parts, it is our intention to continue to supply new parts, however it is expected that due to the reduction in requirements for new spare parts we will start to supply both new (subject to availability) and refurbished spare parts immediately.

Technical Support: Every effort will be made by our Technical Support to team to support you in maintaining the use of your existing Newbury Data printers as you migrate to new systems or look to use them within new applications. If you are unable to use the printer in your new system or application the Technical Support team can advise you of the New ND3000 Series; which supports all media formats. Offer interfaces, drivers or emulation’s compatible with every new version of Windows, UNIX, HP3000/9000, IBM mainframe or ERP system available today.

Service Agreements: Newbury Data will continue to offer standard service agreements for all of our discontinued printers, these will be on an annual basis only or subject to agreement if the period required is longer than 12 months. Spare parts used within these service agreements may either be new or refurbished subject to availability, please contact sales on 01606 593424 for prices or if you wish to have a quotation for any period other than 12 months.

Trade-ins: Newbury Data will offer all existing users of our printers the opportunity to trade-in the old printer for one of the ND2000 series printers or the NEW ND3000 series printers. A very important fact to remember, Newbury Data still supplies new ribbons, refurbished print heads, refurbished spare parts and technical support for the 8000 Series printers, which were discontinued in the early 90’s. The 8000 Series printers were replaced by the ND640, ND680, ND825 and NDSprint printers, this should give you some indication as to the continued support Newbury Data gives to our printers and more importantly our customers.
